Anglo-Welsh Group announces that it was informed on 15 September 2000 that, as
a result of acquiring 75,000 ordinary shares in the Company on 13 September
2000, Mr G R Peyer is now beneficially interested in 100,000 ordinary shares
in the Company, representing approximately 3.13 per cent. of the entire issued
share capital.
