                       Dividend Payment Date - amendment

8 March 2004

This is to amend the dividend timetable announced earlier today under RNS No
2478W. The record date is changed from 22 March 2004 to 19 March 2004. All other
dates remain unchanged.

The Directors propose a final dividend of 0.88p per ordinary share, to be paid
on 7 April 2004 to shareholders on the register at the close of business on
Friday, 19 March 2004.

The preliminary announcement is not being posted to shareholders, but a full
Annual Report will be dispatched to shareholders shortly. The Annual General
Meeting will be held on 6 April 2004.
