Acquisition update

The Board of Dods notes the announcement by the Office of Fair Trading released today and is disappointed that the acquisition of the business of the DeHavilland Political Intelligence division of Emap Limited has been referred to the Competition Commission by the Office of Fair Trading.  The Board is considering the OFT's decision in detail and a further announcement will be made in due course.

However, as announced on 11 June 2012, the Company intends, subject to appropriate authorities, to place up to 123,049,056 new Ordinary Shares at 5.5p each to finance other growth initiatives and acquisitions.  Further details of this placing will be announced in due course.

Unless the context otherwise requires, terms defined in the announcement of 12 January 2012 shall have the same meaning in this announcement.
