SKIL Ports & Logistics Limited is pleased to announce that the Honourable Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Mr. DevendraFadnavis today was the chief guest at a ceremony to mark the laying of the foundation stone for the development of the Company's multipurpose port & logistics facility being developed at Karanja. The ceremony was attended by dignitaries from the Maharashtra legislative assembly as well as senior officials from the Maharashtra Maritime Board, the Chairman of JNPT (Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust) and the Chairman of Mumbai Port Trust. 

Mr. Nikhil Gandhi, Chairman of SPL, presided over the ceremony and said, "We are extremely grateful to the Honorable Chief Minister for his attendance today. His support, and the support of the Maharashtra government, coupled with the expertise within the Company means that we are more confident than ever of our fully funded project at Karanjabeing operational before the end of next year."

The Honorable Chief Minister said, "The Maharashtra government plans to keep a proactive approach and fast track projects within the state in order to make happen the 'make in India' vision the prime minister has set for the country………..We are opening a new chapter today in the history of Maharashtra with the launch of Karanja Terminals."

The video of the ceremony along with a power-point presentation is expected to be uploaded on the Company's website www.skilpl.com during the course of Tuesday 2nd December, 2014.
