The Board of The Mercantile Investment Trust plc announces that Ian Russell will step down as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 31st December 2018. Mr Russell, who has been a Director since January 2007 and who had been due to retire at the conclusion of the next Annual General Meeting in May 2019, has decided to step down sooner than originally planned owing to his other business commitments.
