In compliance with Rule 5.6.1 of the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules, as at 30 April 2018 the issued ordinary share capital of Melrose consisted of 4,409,671,046 ordinary shares of 48/7 pence each. Each ordinary share carries one vote.

The above figure is the total number of voting rights and may be used by shareholders (and others with notification obligations) as the denominator for the calculations by which they can determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Melrose under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
