COMPLETION OF THE SALE OF CRISPLANT (the "Disposal")

Melrose is pleased to confirm the completion of the sale of Crisplant (formerly known as FKI Logistex Europe) to Beumer Group as announced on 24 August 2009.  The disposal proceeds of €30 million will be used to repay group debt.
