Melrose announces that it has agreed to dispose of Arger Enterprises Inc and its
subsidiaries ("Arger") for a cash consideration of US $12m to Heico Aerospace
Holdings Corp.
Arger is a specialised distributor of aeroplane components and engineering
services to the aerospace aftermarket. Melrose has retained its successful
battery distribution business called AQS.
David Roper, Chief Executive said:
"We wish Arger well in its new home. During our ownership Arger has improved its
performance but we believe the business will be better positioned for a
successful future in its new ownership. This is the first step in achieving our
strategy."
