At the AGM today Christopher Miller, Chairman of Melrose, said:


"When we announced our annual results for 2006 on 7th March 2007, we included a
statement on the outlook for 2007 where we said we remained confident that the
Group was well positioned to produce a good performance for 2007.


Since then, of course, we have completed the sale of McKechnie Aerospace for
$850 million. We are now actively looking for a suitable acquisition and, while
we have nothing in our sights at this moment, we are confident we will identify
a profitable opportunity in due course.


In the meantime I can confirm that Dynacast and the other remaining businesses
in the Group are trading to expectations and that we remain encouraged by the
outlook for 2007."


All the resolutions were passed unanimously at the meeting.
