                     Cautionary Announcement

Meikles Africa Limited, the Zimbabwe-based hotel and retail group
quoted  on  the  Zimbabwe and London Stock  Exchanges,  issues  a
further  joint  cautionary announcement  with  Kingdom  Financial
Holdings,  a  financial services group, listed  on  the  Zimbabwe
Stock Exchange.

Shareholders are advised that the previously announced
discussions are still in progress.  A further announcement will
be made in due course.
