Scrip Calculation Price for December 2012 Dividend in relation to the Scrip Dividend Scheme

On 17 May 2010 the Board of MedicX Fund Limited announced an opportunity for qualifying Shareholders to receive relevant dividends in new ordinary shares instead of in cash (the "Scheme").

In relation to the dividend for the period 1 July 2012 to 30 September 2012 payable on 31 December 2012 (the "December 2012 Dividend"), the price of a new ordinary share in relation to the Scrip Dividend Scheme (the "Scrip Calculation Price") has been set at 73.90 pence. This is the average of the closing middle market quotations for the Company's ordinary shares for the five consecutive business days commencing on the ex-dividend date of 14 November 2012.

In order to be valid, Mandate forms must be received by the Company's registrars, Capita Registrars, (or CREST instructions entered) by no later than 5.00 p.m. on 6 December 2012 (the "Mandate Delivery Deadline") in order for elections under the Scrip Dividend Scheme to be effective in relation to the December 2012 Dividend. The Company mailed, on 20 November 2012, personalised Mandate Forms to Shareholders new on the Register since 17 August 2012 and before 16 November 2012 (the "Record Date").  Other Shareholders can use their Mandate Forms issued for previous scrip dividends offered, or obtain Mandate Forms from Capita Registrars.

Mandate Forms remain valid for all Relevant Dividends where a Scrip Dividend Alternative is offered, until cancelled. Therefore, Shareholders who have previously completed a Mandate Form but no longer wish to receive a Scrip Dividend should write to Capita Registrars (at the address on page 5 of the Chairman's letter) by no later than 5.00 p.m. on the Mandate Delivery Deadline for the Relevant Dividend to inform them that they wish to revoke the election and receive a cash dividend.

Shareholders who do not wish to receive a Scrip Dividend Alternative and have not previously completed a Mandate Form need take no further action and will receive a cash dividend in respect of the December 2012 Dividend in the usual way. The payment date in respect of the December 2012 Dividend is 31 December 2012.

Shareholders who have any questions regarding the Scrip Dividend Scheme should contact the Capita Registrars helpline on 0871 664 0321*.

*Calls made to this number are charged at 10 pence per minute plus network charges. Lines are open 8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. (London time) Monday to Friday (except Bank Holidays).
