Board Appointment

McInerney Holdings PLC 19 February 2002 Tuesday, 19th February 2002 NEW BOARD MEMBER FOR MCINERNEY HOLDINGS PLC McInerney Holdings Plc., today announced the appointment of Michael Leece as a Non-Executive Director to its Board. Mr Leece is Chief Executive of the National Marine Aquarium Limited in Devon, England. He is a board member of South West England Regional Development Agency as well as a member of the South West Industrial Development Board. Mr. Leece CEng, FIMarEST, FIMechE has more than 30 years management and engineering experience across the tourism and leisure, offshore oil and gas, defence, marine transport and safety sectors. In his current position as Chief Executive of the National Marine Aquarium Limited, he successfully led the construction of a STG£15m aquarium complex, which was delivered ahead of schedule. The aquarium attracted 475,000 visitors in its first year of operation and was voted Britain's most popular new attraction in 1998. Previously, Mr. Leece was Managing Director of Devonport Management Limited from 1987 - 1996, a company with STG£250m turnover and over 11,000 employees. He was involved in leading the company's strategic transition from a public sector ship repair facility, into a highly successful commercial venture.
