The Company announces that David Robertson, Finance Director of the Company and
his wife, Linda Robertson, sold 100,000 Ordinary Shares each in the Company at a
price of 98 pence per Ordinary Share on 9 June 2003.  David Robertson now has an
interest in, in aggregate, 200,000 Ordinary Shares of the Company, which
represents, in aggregate, 0.35 per cent of the total issued share capital of
Mears Group PLC.
