Photo-Me International PLC 29 May 2002 PHOTO-ME INTERNATIONAL plc Update on possible disposal In January 2002, PMI reiterated its determination to look for ways to optimise shareholder value, in particular through the possible disposal of the Group's Operating business in certain territories. PMI now reports that this option is no longer being pursued. The Board remains committed to delivering shareholder value and is concentrating its efforts on improving the Group's Operating business and further developing the Group's Manufacturing activities, where its DKS 2 minilab is expected to enter volume production in September 2002. Its three major Operating territories are the UK, France and Japan, in all of which it continues to enjoy the leading market position in photobooths. PMI's Manufacturing business, which is based in Grenoble in South East France, principally comprises the manufacture of digital photoprocessing minilabs, for operation by third parties.
