                   Notification of major interests in shares



On 27 October 2004 Photo-Me International plc ('PMI') was advised by Morgan
Stanley Securities Limited ('MSSL') that as of 22 October 2004 it no longer had
a notifiable interest in the 0.5p Ordinary shares ('Shares') of Photo-Me
International plc.

On the same date, 27 October 2004, PMI was separately advised by MSSL that on 25
October 2004 it acquired an interest in Shares which resulted in its interest
increasing to 15,812,732 Shares, representing 4.34% of the Shares in issue.
