                           CHAIRMAN'S AGM STATEMENT


At PMI's AGM this afternoon, Dan David, Chairman, will shortly give the
following update on prospects.


'The recent considerable worldwide increase in negative economic sentiment and
uncertainty makes it difficult to be confident about immediate prospects.
However, the Board believes that positive developments in the Group's
manufacturing business, with its focus on the fast growing global market for
digital photography, continue to augur well for the future.'
