Transfer of shares out of Treasury

McBride plc ("the Company") announces that on 12 October 2011 it transferred 15,815 ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company for the purpose of meeting SAYE options that were exercised early.

The Company now holds 1,416,191 shares in Treasury and has a total of 179,624,110 ordinary shares (excluding treasury shares) in issue.
