purchase of 176,720 Ordinary Shares on 8th April 2002, INVESCO Perpetual High
Income Fund now holds 10,787,545 shares of 10p each in McBride, representing
6.075% (previously 5.78%).  The shares are registered in the name of Vidacos
Nominees Limited.

Please note that this holding was previously notified to us on 13th March 2002
under their aggregate holding of 14.07%.
