                         Additional Dividend Information

Further to the interim results announcement made on 15 February 2002, McBride
plc advises that the record date for the interim dividend will be on 7 June
2002.

The interim dividend of 0.7p per share will be paid on 4 July 2002 to
shareholders on the register as at 7 June 2002. The ex-dividend date will be 5
June 2002 and the payment date will be on 4 July 2002.
