This announcement is made in accordance with DTR5.6.


During the month of February 2007 AiM VCT2 plc repurchased a number of its own
shares, all transactions duly notified in accordance with the Disclosure and
Transparency Rules.


As at 28 February 2007 AiM VCT2 plc's issued share capital consists of
39,710,023 ordinary shares with voting rights.


The above figure (39,710,023) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for
the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify
their interest in, or a change to their interest in, AiM VCT2 plc under the
FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
