Annual General Meeting and Circular to Shareholders: Correction

Further to the announcement of 8 September 2016 giving notice of the Annual General Meeting ("AGM") of the Company to be held today, and the posting of a circular to shareholders ("the Circular") containing notice of the resolutions to be considered at the AGM ("the Notice"), the Company announces that, due to a clerical error, Resolution Seven in the Notice proposes that a final dividend of 12.5 pence per ordinary share for the year ended 31 May 2016 be paid.  Reference to 12.5 pence was an error. 

The Notice should refer to a proposed final dividend of 8.65 pence per ordinary share, making a proposed total dividend for the year of 12.5 pence per share, in line with  the Company's previous announcements relating to the proposed final dividend including the Chairman's Statement dated 7 September 2016 and note 14 to the annual accounts for the year ended 31 May 2016, which accompanied the Notice on 23 September 2016.  

As this is a clerical error, no new Notice will be sent out, and the alteration of the resolution to correct the proposed final dividend will be effected by a motion passed at the AGM.  A letter will be sent to all shareholders, with a copy of the amended Circular uploaded to the Company's website www.mattioliwoods.com and available for inspection at the Company's registered address, MW House, 1 Penman Way, Grove Park, Enderby, Leicester, LE19 1SY.
