Placing of 5,008,870 B ordinary shares at 100 pence per share to raise £5,008,870 (the "Placing").  

Marwyn (SFM: MVI) is pleased to announce that it has raised £5,008,870 before expenses, through a placing of 5,008,870 new B ordinary shares (the "Placing Shares") at 100 pence per share.  

The proceeds of the Placing will be used by the Company to invest in a new class of interests in Marwyn Value Investors L.P. (formerly known as Marwyn Neptune Fund L.P.). The new class of interests will be designated Class B1 Interests.  

Admission of the Placing Shares to the Specialist Fund Market of the London Stock Exchange is expected to occur and dealings are expected to commence on 30 November 2009.
