On 17 July 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 5,700 ordinary shares at a price of 234.75p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 9,339,265 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 94,243,937 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
