On 1 March 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 6,512 ordinary shares at a price of 234.68p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 7,085,616 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 96,497,586 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
