On 17 February 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 19,888 ordinary shares at a price of 230.46p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 7,030,569 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 96,552,633 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
