On 9 February 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 893 ordinary shares at a price of 226.25p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 6,946,241 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 96,636,961 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
