On 6 February 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 1,000 ordinary shares at a price of 226.00p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 6,903,876 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 96,679,326 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
