On 19 June 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 10,947 ordinary shares at a price of 238.99p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 8,966,865 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 94,616,337 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
