On 9 June 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 48,366 ordinary shares at a price of 238.50p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 8,890,947 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 94,692,255 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
