On 30 May 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 1,252 ordinary shares at a price of 233.93p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 8,650,817 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 94,932,385 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
