On 10 January 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 251 ordinary shares at a price of 227.25p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 6,814,137 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 96,769,065 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
