On 28 April 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 10,097 ordinary shares at a price of 181.58p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 4,146,439 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 99,436,763 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
