On 11 December 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 42,446 ordinary shares at a price of 171.91p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 3,490,609 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 100,092,593 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
