Transaction in own shares - 1 March 2016

On 29 February 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 10,000 ordinary shares at a price of 177.50p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

 Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 3,083,468 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 100,499,734 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
