On 8 December 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 1,779 ordinary shares at a price of 176.85p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 3,448,163 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 100,135,039 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
