On 7 December 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 1,447 ordinary shares at a price of 177p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 3,446,384 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 100,136,818 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
