On 2 February 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 19,981 ordinary shares at a price of 170.79p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,588,010 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 100,995,192 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
