On 17 September 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 3,878 ordinary shares at a price of 169.25p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,617,443 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 101,150,759 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
