On 12 October 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 193,495 ordinary shares at a price of 172.67p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,177,458 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 101,405,744 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
