On 14 January 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 7,011 ordinary shares at a price of 169.25p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 3,644,025 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 99,939,177 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
