On 30 July 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 40,000 ordinary shares at a price of 178.04p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,993,936 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 101,499,235 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
