On 6 May 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 77,000 ordinary shares at a price of 189.36p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,823,766 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 101,669,405 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
