On 19 October 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 14,628 ordinary shares at a price of 171.91p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,192,086 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 101,391,116 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
