On 22 July 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 68,059 ordinary shares at a price of 180p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,939,152 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 101,554,019 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
