On 4 February 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 1,006 ordinary shares at a price of 180.5p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 1,450,764 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 103,042,407 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
