On 9 March 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 45,000 ordinary shares at a price of 185.01p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 1,998,766 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 102,494,405 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
