On 3 February 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 19,962 ordinary shares at a price of 179.87p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 1,449,758 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 103,043,413 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
