On 22 September 2014 Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 45,000 ordinary shares at a price of 173.5p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,715,698 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 101,777,473 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
