On 4 July 2014 Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 100,000 ordinary shares at a price of 166.75p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 1,460,675 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 103,032,496 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
