ordinary shares of 7.375p each on the London Stock Exchange via UBS Investment 
Bank.

Marston's PLC intend to hold these shares as treasury shares. Following the 
above purchase, Marston's PLC holds ordinary shares 26,885,339 as treasury 
shares and has 285,003,785 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
